Waratahs confirm signing of Aussie 7s star Cam Clark

The NSW Waratahs have today confirmed the signing of Australian Sevens star Cam Clark on a two year deal. The 23-year-old has made a huge name for himself in the Seven-a-side game, as a key member of the Australian Sevens team since 2012, which recently participated in the Olympic Games in Rio. He has played in 30 Sevens World Series, during which time he has secured over 600 points. Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson said he was delighted to welcome Clark to the squad as he seeks a new challenge back in the 15-a-side game. “Cam has had a hugely successful career in Sevens already. He looks a dangerous and threatening player with ball in hand so I’m looking forward to working with him,” Gibson said. “He’s looking for a challenge back in 15s and will no doubt add to the competition for spots next season. “He’s recently been named in the Sydney Rays for this year’s NRC, which will be a great opportunity for him to find his feet and transition from Sevens.” A member of
